this photo was honored with being voted one of the favorites in the macroday 'ink' theme! thanks for visiting and voting! wanted to make this wider but unfortunately since aminus3 resizes everything to a max width of 800 pixels, it wouldn't have looked quite as macro

Nice shot, macro/DOF-meister! This is almost hypnotic with the colours and lines and really rapid bokeh. Very nice comp as well as technical stuntsmanship :-)
Just got back and have a lot of ordinary life to catch up on, but I will get the info on the photos without EFIX data for you sometime soon. I suspect that you're right about it having something to do with the post-processing sw.

For my taste I think the red marker tip is a little too centered and this leaves too much white space in the bottom right corner.

@Twelvebit: thanks. you're right. i think i was a little too concerned with getting the tips of all the pens, the ink marks, and not the background behind it.

Original and creative use of color. I agree with one of the previous comments about the great detail in the red pen's tip.
