Night images are captivating, I think part of it is that you are afforded the time to study the scene and see how the shadows and silhouettes interplay with each other. The building on the right (in the distance) also looks interesting.

@Kevin at OrganicPIX.com: thanks. in actuality there are two buildings you're seeing on the right -- the window on the bottom is a different wing of the same building on the left and the tower on the top right is the campanile (clock tower) i've posted a number of shots of in the past.

Wonderful capture of a night scene. The building is impressive, but I was captivated by the light in the building on the right -- perhaps a church? This is an excellent composition.
