for some reason this 'bottle' challenge was a lot harder than it sounded

coming back to photoblogging after some time away; trying to post a new photo every couple weeks.

Honestly, that does not look like a bottle with milk. More like Mr. Monopoly's Eye Piece LOL! I love it when photos make the known object look entirely different! Taking the normal and making it unique. Awesome job!

@Paolo Micheli: thanks. well the idea of photographing a bottle came from macroday. i was having a lot of trouble getting decent shots from other angles so i just went with this one. it looked kind of awkward to me since the dof effect left the actual body of the bottle in a total blur. seemed like there was something hypnotic about the circle.

@Kevin at OrganicPIX.com: funny. but you made a good observation. this glass bottle wasn't bought with milk in it -- it originally contained juice but was then washed and reused as a container of milk. ;)

@Melissa: thanks. the light was a lucky accident, i think it's just a reflection of the ceiling light overhead.
