hadn't made one of these since i was a little kid -- it's a lot harder with bigger hands! first in a series of four shots of playing cards -- haven't had time to go out and take many shots lately, maybe this weekend -- sorry if the quality's suffered.

Nice shallow depth of field and visual focus on the 2. It may be more difficult to construct with larger 'hands' as you put it, but the great thing is that they are very steady at 1/30 of a second exposure!

I like this composition and the almost (but not quite) monochrome treatment. Good background too - not flat, but not too distracting. Did you try shifting the frame very slightly to capture the bottom edge of the upper rhs card?

Great composition. I also love the shallow dof, which probably isn't a surprise. I also like what you did with the treatment. I like this quite a bit.
