healthy -- and free!

i had another version of this that i had a hard time choosing between. the other version can be seen here.

sorry i'm not able to catch up on everyone's blogs as i'd like to, focusing on other pursuits more now.

I think you chose the better shot. A great statement, and clever shot. Another higher ISO shot; did you use your new-found history brush noise-reduction technique on this one? Also, (at 1/5 second) if you shot this handheld, you have a nice steady hand.

@Ron: Thanks a lot, Ron! I didn't use the history brush part but I did use the photoshop noise reduction and despeckle tools. I did shoot it handheld (haven't shot anything differently yet), though I crouched down and rested my arms on my knees.

Yup, I go with this choice, too. It makes a great 1/5 sec shot and I like the 'outdated film' look in the colors. Neat.

@Ronnie 2¢: thanks! that was actually the main reason I took the shot, though it's exaggerated a bit in the photo (because of the low light and my pp), the color and light in the place sort of had that look to it to begin with.

Like the color tone of this one too.
The choice of water would be 'healthy' providing the Coke machine did not zap you standing on those cords while taking a drink!

I see what you mean about the red; however this has an almost cross-processed feel to it...I also like the color of the fountain in this one as opposed to the other one. Still great job! ;)

Thanks for posting both, which is interesting. I always like to see comparisons. I guess I'm in the minority, but I kind of liked the other one a little better -- the soft whites somehow spoke to me. Thansk for sharing.
