Great message! Great image! Is this message on your house?

@Melissa: Thanks a lot! No, it doesn't snow outside my house. This is on a street in Michigan.
It seems it's more important to impeach a politician who spends money on a prostitute than to impeach a politician who lies to the American people and is responsible for a mad war...

This colorless visual of "Main St" USA has a great in your face message. Hard to believe that WWI, WW II, etc were each fought in less time. So sad, but an appropriate break in 'reality' from your lively flora.

A nice tribute to the five year anniversary of a war that should have never been authorized or waged.

It's good to find we're on the same side --so to speak-- and the right side of history. Not counting all the "little" wars, it's been twice already in my lifetime that we've used our great economic power to kill a million or more people on the other side of the world. But we've gotten so much more efficient since Vietnam, where killing a good 3 million people cost 50,000 American lives --now we've got the ratio down to about 6,000 or so lives on our side (counting all the deaths of the mercenaries we call "contractors") --and not counting the young Americans whose wounds have permanently altered or destroyed their lives (what, another 10,000 or so?). But hey, what's a few million foreigners and a few thousand destroyed American lives against big money for a rich and privileged few captains of industry?

@Twelvebit: well said. they're 'just numbers,' right? not like every one of those million had a mother and father, or brother or sister, or son or daughter, or husband or wife, or friends, or meant something to their community or anything.
