Beautiful detail, here, in this macro…nice choice on the processing! Anthropologically speaking, I think we can learn a lot about a person (humanity) by studying the contents of their key-ring. You, my friend, remain a mystery to me…

Great macro...love the focus and treatment. I really like the hug token...looks like it's been on there awhile. I'm curious, that the cylinder looking thing coming off the key chain?

@Melissa: thanks! that's okay, i understood what you were asking when i read the first comment... anyway, the cylinder looking thing is the end of a whistle, supposedly for safety but fortunately never yet used for that purpose.
Great idea for keeping the token on your key chain for quick access. One never knows when they may need a hug!

I love simple objects said of nothing in photography, it gives a lot of opportunity to create and play with the DOF like in this one.
