untitled bottle cap edge

macroday entry for 'cap' -- i don't usually like using the same shot for two challenges (i originally used this for 'edge') but this seemed so specifically appropriate for the cap theme...

This really could be so many things (I'll take your word for it that it's an untitled bottle cap edge) ... I like your composition – it makes it more mysterious ... the reflections and shadows inside the cap are quite interesting, as well!

I like the sharpness of the edge...very nice composition...I like the lighting, and especially the shadows on the inside of the cap. Great image!

@Melissa W.: Thanks a lot! i had a lot of trouble with the sharpness of the edge. Normally i would've probably let it go, but the macroday challenge was 'edge' so i figured people would notice. didn't have good lighting so it was getting really grainy when i sharpened it--so i took out my flashlight and shined it on the edge :)
