For my 200th post I thought I would revisit the first photo I posted and try processing it again. This is a VGA-size image (I didn't have a memory stick then so I'd often shoot low quality), so I couldn't prevent some pixelation, but I think this time I did a better job of getting the picture to actually look how I saw it in my mind--trying to emphasize the blue, red, and yellow in different sections of the shot. The first post can be seen here. I still have a lot to learn, but I have learned a lot since October. Many Special Thanks to everyone who's taught me through taking the time to comment or critique my shots!
Comments, feedback, criticism, suggestions, etc. are always appreciated. Thanks! Image too large? Click the 'small' link in the bottom right corner for a smaller view.

Happy Bicentennial post! This is a nice one to revisit - beautiful juxtaposition of fence and trees - highlighted by that lovely light!

The light filtering through the trees seems warmer and you've removed the power lines. Looks like you've added some blue to the sky as well. Well done. Congrats on the 200th photo and have a great weekend.

@Sean: Thanks a lot, Sean! You did a very good analysis of my processing. i added a photo filter and saturated the colors a couple ways.
I love the light you've captured! Well done and congrats on the 200th post!

@Ron: Thanks a lot, Ron! Always appreciate your thoughtful comments! The last hundred days really flew by!
Enjoyed looking at both photos. You've added some nice warmth here and did a good job cropping back the sky from your original one. And congratulations on 200! I've enjoyed this blog a great deal and I'm looking forward to many more posts.

Beautiful sunlight through the trees. Nice idea.

Yes the differences between this shot and the first one are subtle but effective, this one is much more pleasing, the colour of the sunlight coming through the leaves is great.

Ah, yes - better the second time. It's a sweet image, and (I'm really fond of colors) an interesting mix. I might try cropping off the top of the picture to make a square image because the sky lacks the color intensity of the lower part of the image. (Not saying you should - just that I'd try it and compare). 200 photos! Good for you!
