yeah, i know, people don't usually like power lines obstructing their landscapes... anyway, you might recognize this place from this shot.

coming back to photoblogging after some time away; trying to post a new photo every couple weeks.

Beautiful tones. And what would we do without the power lines? I personally actually like to see a combination of man-made items combined with natural subjects - but realise I may be part of a minority group here!

Gorgeous tones and beautiful light! The light in the sky is so beautiful ... and then you have the light from the street light that sort of creates a horizon separating the shadow in the foreground and the beauty above. Very well done!

@Craig: actually it is a sunset. i love that time of the morning too, or i used to, but i live in a family of very late night people and it seems much of the world is oriented that way too, so over the decades they've converted me ;)

Beautiful shot! I think the power lines at the the city feel of the photo! But power lines do get in the way sometimes.

No, I did not recognize the location as the former, but now I do :-)
There is a serene sense of time and space here - maybe it's the lone glow of the streetlight - also like the final blush of the setting sun behind the mountains.
