i decided to do a bit of reprocessing on this photo i posted before. the problem is, it still looks significantly better when it's larger than the 800 pixels wide you see on aminus3. a LARGER VERSION CAN BE SEEN HERE.
too much going on right now, so i haven't been able to catch up on everyone's blogs--and it's looking like it's only going to get worse. this is actually exciting for other aspects of my life but something has to give... i'll still be posting photos as i can, but since photoblogging is supposed to be my stress relief, not a source of stress (e.g. feeling bad when i'm unable to respond to comments or follow your work--not only because i so appreciate your having doing that for my work but also because i enjoy seeing and being inspired by yours), this will unfortunately have to be one of the things that 'gives.' again, danthro is not disappearing, just appearing less.
Comments, feedback, criticism, suggestions, etc. are always appreciated. Thanks! Image too large? Click the 'small' link in the bottom right corner for a smaller view.

Exceptional capture...so clear and I love the tilt. BTW, would have loved to have read the longer version of your comment. Software can be so difficult:-)

Very nice shot. I much prefer this one with the B&W tones than the other one with sepia tones.

Nice perspective and processing. The larger version definitely packs in the detail.

Lots going on here. Nice perspective. interesting shadows.

I like the clarity of this version ... and the larger version really does do justice to the expansiveness of the shot.

Some of my favorite images just do not translate well online. That is the problem about posting things that look great as an enlargement print or in a really large scale version online, but the limited screen size, well, limits them. Thanks for posting the larger version - love the detail of the players.

A lot of images look better bigger. This version is visibly better than the previous version.

@Andrew Gould: thanks. that's really kind of you!
I don't know which one I like better, but I can tell you that I agree with you that the bigger one is better. This image is still one of my favorites.
