Excellent image ... your POV really pulls one into the image and that beautiful warm light. I particularly like the angle created by the stairs (and railing) and the balustrades along the top. Is this another view of Hearst Gym? Really a beautiful photograph!

This is really a nice shot. It has an HDR quality or you've at least opened the shadows a lot for the depth. At any rate, really well done.

@Mike: thanks a lot! i used to feel bad that i couldn't take HDR shots since i use a point-n-shoot and don't have a tripod, but then i learned about the shadow/highlight tool and all that changed :)

... random thought, but each time I look at this shot it makes me think of the Potala Palace (Dalai Lama's home in Lhasa, Tibet). That has *lots* of stairs with similar sharp turns.
