Peter Camejo was yielded time to speak during caucusing by one of the delegates, when he ran out of time, a chorus of voices of delegates yielded more time to him. Among other things, he said that though Ralph Nader is getting a lot of 'flak,' the flak is heaviest when you're right over the target. He also said, "Ralph Nader is not just a candidate, he's an issue, and the Peace and Freedom Party needs to take a stand on this issue." Camejo was Ralph Nader's running mate in 2004, he also ran three times as the Green Party candidate for Governor of California but is currently battling cancer.
Nader/Gonzalez series from the weekend of their historic California Peace & Freedom Party nomination for President/Vice President of the United States of America.

I like daily life photos. All the nominees speak about PEACE & FREEDOME very well! but every day we feel less peace and freedom!

@Arash: thanks! you're correct about the nominees of the two major parties--that's why Ralph Nader's running, to give people a choice to actually push for solutions rather than just talk about it.
You're down to one comment --well, two now. But hey, so what that the White House had documents forged to justify an attack on Iraq and probably even sent out anthrax to America citizens as part of their scare tactics --we don't need decent politicians like Nader, we need more Survivor, COPS, and Monday Night Football.

Excellent ... you can see the sincerity and wisdom in his eyes!

@Ron: thanks a lot, Ron! yeah, Camejo's fighting for his life, he doesn't have much incentive to be insincere--i don't think he's appeared in public much in a while but he came out for this and probably really helped Nader win the nomination.
Your image is exceptional. The lighting and tones are just perfect.

@sherri: thanks a lot, Sherri! I had trouble getting these shots from a bit back, low indoor light and lack of tripod do that but this one came out ok, the photo quality will get better starting Saturday's shot.
There's a feeling of tension in the air here. At least that's the way it comes across to me. Well done!
