untitled lizard dude

Saw this guy just standing there and had to take some photos... also inspired by this shot from Twelvebit (except I like Twelvebit's shot better and his is the original lizard dude ;) ).

sorry i'm not able to catch up on everyone's blogs as i'd like to, focusing on other pursuits more now.

cool dude lizard... lots of texture in his coat and the surface he's on: it's a bit dizzying.

Love the lizard. Love the swirl of the ground around him. I posted lizard shots myself a few days ago.

Pedro is right, it's difficult to shoot a lizard. Your capture is neat, letting us look at the skin texture.

Just so happens I was out driving rural Texas this weekend and came across another lizard worthy of a photo. I haven't had time to download my photos yet, but he looked a little strange through the viewfinder. I'll probably be posting him in the next couple of weeks. I think the difference between this lizard and mine from awhile back is that this one just looks like a nice guy.
